If you are using a camping, you will still need a camping stove or grill to prepare hot meals. There are a variety of stoves and grills suitable for campers. Some are cheap and small, while others are more expensive and will cook larger amounts of food at the same time. The smaller and lighter the equipment, the better, especially if you have to carry it for any distance. You will also need some pots and pans. For a traditional breakfast of bacon and eggs, bring a cast iron skillet. You can make coffee by boiling water in a pot, adding coffee grinds, steep for a few minutes than strain until grains are removed. You will need the right camping cooking gear but some snacks and meals will be easier. For instance, hot dogs and marshmallows can easily be roasted on skewers over your campfire. Traditional camping includes the memorable taste of slightly burnt hot dogs and marshmallows that have been cooked over a cracking campfire. In fact, different types of wood can impart a different flavour to the food, so do some research before choosing your firewood. You should also have a cooler to store cold foods, bread and drinks. Don't forget your utensils for cooking and eating, for example spatulas, skewers, spoons, forks and knives. A spork will save space (a spork is a combination spoon and fork).

Cooking over a campfire with the right cooking gear in the wilderness can be a culinary delivery. You will never forget the delicious meals that you cook and enjoy in the beauty of the great outdoors. There are lots of camping supplies that can be bought both online and in the stores. You will find everything from the most basic gear to very modern gadgets that are the cutting edge of living with nature in the wilderness. Everyone has to eat, so why not eat well, even if you are roughing it!
